As the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Partner of Platform Capital, a Mauritius-headquartered investment and advisory firm with a portfolio exceeding USD 2 billion across five continents, Dr. Akindele has played a defining role in shaping the growth of numerous high-impact ventures across technology, energy, logistics, and education sectors.
He also serves as the Founder and CEO of Duport Midstream and Atlantic International Refineries & Petrochemicals Limited, leading the development of Nigeria’s first integrated energy park and pioneering modular refinery projects that redefine innovation in Africa’s energy infrastructure. Beyond business, Dr. Akindele’s passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and education drives his commitment to empowering Africa’s next generation of leaders.
