• Held in Addis Ababa and organised by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the Forum urged long-term capital mobilisation to unlock Africa’s innovation potential and power inclusive growth.

• Leaders emphasised full implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to strengthen regional value chains, harmonise regulations, and enable cross-border enterprise expansion.

• Policymakers called for a shift toward ecosystem-based financing models, integrating infrastructure, industrialisation, digital markets, and green energy to generate sustainable employment.

• Heads of state, including Taye Atske Selassie and Salah Ahmed Jama, highlighted youth entrepreneurship, industrial policy, and digital transformation as central to Africa’s structural shift toward value-added growth.
