Mehmet Ihsan Kalkan
Mr. Mehmet Ihsan Kalkan specializing in commercial law, won a large number of significant lawsuits especially in commercial cases and conducted important studies on this sphere. Attending many international summits, forums and exhibitions on law and justice, commercial trade & law systems of Middle Eastern (Iraq, Syria etc.) and European countries and had various high-level appointments on this issue. Studied on European law system for a long time and prepared a report basing on concrete findings of these studies. Voluntarily worked in many non-governmental organizations and supported them by various humanitarian projects. Conducted notable scientific studies and essays on the promotion of women & children rights, supported relevant efforts and developed projects in this area. Voluntarily worked at UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for refugees sheltered in Silopi, Turkey after 1st Gulf War of 1991.
Actively and voluntarily worked to register incoming refugees and distribute humanitarian aid materials. Chairman of Gaziantep Branch of Strong Industrialists and Businessmen Association.
