Mr. Amit Ghosh has been associated with Bureau Veritas (BV) Group for the past 21 years and has experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry for more than 26 years. He currently leads the Commodities, Industry & Facilities division of the Group in South Asia and is an Ex-com member of the Asia Pacific Middle East Operating Group of the Company. He is a member of the Executive Leadership Team of the Company.
Amit has held various management positions in the BV Group over the past two decades. He was instrumental in setting up and leading the Commodities business of the Group in India and subsequently across the whole of Asia, based out of Singapore.
Amit is a Board member of the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), a constituent board of Quality Council of India (QCI). He is also a member of the Economic Times India Leadership Council.
Amit holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and the University of Akron, USA, respectively. He also holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, USA.
