Mutiso Ndambuki is a seasoned professional with a rich and diverse background in finance, strategy and entrepreneurship. Armed with a BSC in Mathematics with 2nd Class honors from Moi University, Mutiso’s journey has been marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a keen understanding of financial intricacies.
Currently serving as the Founder and Director of Nawiri Vantage Services Ltd, Mutiso leads an advisory company that specializes in providing guidance and linking SMEs with solution providers and financial support under the USAID’s Kenya Investment Mechanism (KIM) and AceliAfrica programs.
In addition, Mutiso is a co-founder of Callme2Work (CM2W), an innovative IT platform for technical services. CM2W aims to revolutionize urban households’ access to technical solutions while concurrently addressing the unemployment challenges faced by Tivet graduates.
Prior to immersing himself in SME advisory services, Mutiso made significant contributions as the Country Manager and Regional Commercial Representative at Financial Access Commerce and Trade Services. This Dutch factoring company, headquartered in Amsterdam, operates in East Africa and Mutiso played a pivotal role in business development, factoring model analysis and strategic leadership to enhance financial profitability.
Mutiso’s journey began in the banking sector, where he started as a graduate clerk at Standard Chartered Bank. Through dedication and hard work, he ascended to the position of branch manager. Subsequently, he joined Bank of Africa where he served in various capacities, including Regional Branch Manager Coast, Head of Business Enterprise Mombasa and Product Manager for Investment Groups at BOA House Nairobi.
In total, Mutiso boasts 14 years of invaluable experience in the banking sector, complemented by 3.5 years dedicated to Supply Chain Finance and Factoring. His career trajectory reflects not only a deep understanding of financial structures but also a commitment to fostering economic growth through strategic thinking and visionary leadership.
