At the 2nd India-CARICOM Summit (Nov 20, 2024), PM Narendra Modi unveiled a 7-pillar action plan emphasizing capacity building, renewable energy, innovation, cricket, maritime security, and healthcare. Key highlights include 1,000 IT scholarships, partnerships in millet cultivation, digital transformation, and maritime security, and adoption of India’s UPI platform. India’s strategic collaboration with Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, and others has fostered advancements in agriculture, renewable energy, and affordable healthcare.
