Uganda Airlines is expanding its route network with new flights to Abuja, Nigeria, Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare, Zimbabwe, starting in September to bolster competition against Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways, and RwandAir. The Abuja service will operate twice weekly, followed by Lusaka and Harare routes four times a week in a triangular pattern, enhancing connectivity and offering more travel options to customers. This expansion, part of Uganda Airlines’ strategy to increase revenue and fleet utilization, brings its total flights to 16 destinations across Africa and marks a significant step towards future growth and international expansion plans.
