Vietnam’s Digital Infrastructure Strategy: Opportunities for Foreign Investors

Vietnam’s Digital Infrastructure Strategy by 2025, with a Vision to 2030, focuses on nationwide 5G deployment, achieving 99% coverage by 2030, and building robust data infrastructure, including undersea fiber optic cables and green data centers. By 2025, the country aims for two international cables and by 2030, six, along with hyperscale data centers. The strategy targets key sectors like smart transportation, healthcare, education, and tourism, with IoT adoption growing from one connection per citizen in 2025 to four by 2030. Digital signatures will rise from 50% to 70% adoption. Vietnam aims to become a top 50 global player in e-government and digital economy, enhancing its competitiveness and attracting foreign investment in cutting-edge technologies.
